I Built and Launced Two Apps in Just 48 Hours
If two platforms can be built and launched in 48 hours, what could we build in 48 days? Or 48 weeks?
48 hours. 2 platforms. 1 idea.
That’s how I spent a recent weekend turning problems I’ve seen over and over into functional solutions powered by creativity and AI.
Not prototypes. Not concepts.
Actual platforms people can use today.
Why?
At the heart of everything I do (whether it’s design, mentoring, or building products) is a simple motivation: to solve problems that matter.
Over the years, I’ve had hundreds of conversations with people about their careers. I’ve seen the pain of:
Feeling stuck in a role that no longer excites them.
Wondering if it’s “too late” to start fresh in a different field.
Struggling to make their unique skills and experiences “fit” into job descriptions.
Watching opportunities pass them by because they didn’t have the right guidance or clarity.
These struggles aren’t just professional; they’re deeply personal. Career uncertainty chips away at confidence, motivation, and even identity.
And then there’s the other side of the story: money.
Like many people, I’ve wrestled with the complexity of financial management. I wanted to grow, plan ahead, and make smart choices, but the process felt overwhelming.
Both themes kept surfacing in my own life and in the lives of the people around me.
That’s when it hit me: these are two of the biggest levers of personal growth, yet they’re also two of the most confusing and stressful parts of life.
So I decided to test a bold idea:
Could I use AI + design to build tools that bring clarity and confidence where people feel the most lost?
That challenge became my 48-hour sprint.
1. My Career Compass
My Career Compass was born out of the pain points I’ve seen in my work as a mentor:
Feeling stagnant, overlooked, or directionless
Difficulty translating unique skills into traditional roles
Fear of making the wrong choice when exploring new paths
Career Compass uses AI to help people:
See their career options clearly
Map guided pathways to new roles
Build confidence in their transferable skills
It’s not about forcing you into one answer—it’s about helping you navigate your career with clarity.
2. OmniFinance
OmniFinance came from a much more personal place.
I’ve always believed in growth and forward planning—but when it came to my own finances, I often found myself juggling too many tools, too many spreadsheets, and too much uncertainty.
I wanted something simpler.
A single place where I could:
Track my budgets
Set financial goals
Get smart, AI-powered guidance
Reduce the mental load of money management
Access all financial planning tools
So I built OmniFinance—first for myself, then for anyone else who feels the same way.
Because financial health shouldn’t feel like a second full-time job. It should give you clarity, control, and peace of mind.
The Bigger Lesson
What surprised me most wasn’t just that these platforms came to life so quickly—it was how natural the process felt.
AI didn’t replace my creativity.
It multiplied it.
With the right design lens, AI became a partner in rapid problem-solving, helping me move from concept to product in hours, not months.
The real takeaway?
We’re entering a time where the distance between idea and execution is shrinking. What matters is clarity of vision, empathy for real problems, and the creativity to shape solutions.
Career Compass and OmniFinance are my proof-of-concept: that creativity + AI can turn real pain points into solutions fast.
But they’re also a signal of what’s possible.
If two platforms can be built in 48 hours, what could we build in 48 days? Or 48 weeks?
The tools are here. The problems are waiting. The only question left is: What will we create next?
